Time To Move On”: Elon Musk vs Zuckerberg Cage Fight Cancelled?

Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg, Cage Fight

In the next chapter of the Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg saga, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg says he is “moving on” from the renowned “cage fight”. When Musk tweeted his willingness to partake in the war in June, the two billionaire tech rivals appeared to have agreed to it. In response to Musk’s post, Zuckerberg demanded the address.

Zuckerberg chose his threads account to come clean about his point of view, “I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on. I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead. If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously.”

The Mark Zuckerberg vs Elon Musk Cage Fight

Before August 26, Zuckerberg, 39, had suggested the date for the battle, but claimed Musk, 52, hadn’t agreed.

Last Monday, Musk stated that his own company, X, formerly known as Twitter, will stream the potential battle. Musk added that all earnings “will go to charity for veterans,” adding that he was “lifting weights throughout the day, preparing for the fight.”

At a martial arts competition in California in May, Zuckerberg, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner, took home gold and silver in two featherweight white belt divisions.

The two tech billionaires reportedly decided to engage in a cage fight in June. When Meta unveiled Threads, which is viewed as a direct rival to Twitter, this month, the stakes for the potential conflict increased.

Cage Fight or Social Media Feud

Earlier, Elon Musk had uploaded an alleged text message discussion between himself and Zuckerberg.

He says in it that he will be in Palo Alto, the city where Meta’s headquarters are located, on Monday and that the battle might take place in Zuckerberg’s Octagon, the eight-sided ring where cage fights are held.

While Zuckerberg “calls out” Musk for not being a “real fighter, ” he doesn’t want to hype it up if the Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg fight isn’t happening.

A user posted a screenshot of Zuckerberg’s post on threads calling him “painfully boring”. Following this, Musk replied to the post saying “Zuck is a chicken”.
