International Women’s Day 2023: 5 of The World’s Favourite Women

International Women’s Day

2023 International Women’s Day: March 8 is recognized as International Women’s Day throughout the world. The priority theme for the upcoming 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW-67), “Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls,” is in line with the theme for International Women’s Day 2023, “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”. Also, IWD 2023 will examine how the growing economic and social disparities are impacted by the gender gap in the digital sphere.

UN Women tweeted and announced its CSW67 through a tweet manifesting a future where Women and girls are safe online. A lot where everyone has equal access to technology and innovation.

International Women’s Day 2023 Theme

The #EmbraceEquity campaign topic for IWD 2023 aims to start a global conversation on why equal opportunities are insufficient. As everyone has a distinct starting point, achieving meaningful inclusion and belonging calls for fair treatment.

We can all dispel gender stereotypes, denounce prejudice, call out discrimination, and work to be inclusive. Change is driven by collective activism. We can all embrace equity, from small-scale movements to global momentum.

Women don’t have to be the only ones pushing for gender equality. The social, economic, cultural, and political success of women depends significantly on allies.

Legendary Women All Over

International Women’s day is all about appreciating the women around us. There have been women who are adored and respected by everyone around the world. You would take their names and people will be like “Yeah I’ve heard about her. A legend.” They earned this respect from their work and contribution to their respective fields.

Let us Embrace Equality by giving a cheer to these women.
